Vedic Thai Massage
“Vedic Thai Massage or Assisted Yoga is the style of bodywork that is known as Southeast Asian Physiotherapy. Customarily, a Vedic Thai Massage-Assisted Yoga lasts about 2 hours, during which there is a surrendering release which allows deeper and deeper physical and mental ‘openings’. Flowing rhythmic compressions using the feet, knees, palms, elbows, forearms and fingers are blended with various stretching positions and disciplined breath control, effectively producing a balanced and harmonious symbiotic communication integrating the body’s vital systems. It is addressing the releasing of the marmas, the chakras, and the nadis of congested negative feelings and emotions and thoughts.”

What is Vedic Thai Massage:
Why I Love Vedic Thai Massage
Vedic Thai Massage feels both playful and deeply grounding. I love the way it weaves together dynamic movement, intentional breath, deep holding, and surrender. Thus creating space for the body to soften rather than asking it to do more.
There is something beautifully nurturing about this practice. To me, it carries the energy of being held and cared for. The kind of safety and tenderness we associate with being nurtured by a mother. It invites you to release, receive, and simply be.
Through movement, breath, touch, and stillness, Vedic Thai Massage creates space to reconnect with your body and experience yourself more fully. There is no need to perform or achieve. You are simply supported, held, and given permission to experience the fullness of being human.

FAQ:
Q: What do i wear?
A: Vedic Thai Massage is fully clothed, it is important to wear comfortable clothing that you can easily move in and don’t feel exposed in. Think active wear, yoga clothes, or something that feels loose and comfortable. Things like jeans, dresses, skirts would not be appropriate for this type of massage. Always feel free to ask further questions.
Q: What to expect?
A: Vedic Thai Massage starts with a meditation and breathwork to get grounded and centered into the space. We work together to change your bodies cellular memory through different movements. There will be times where the movements are more passive and times where i may need your active participation. Like having you push, pull, twist, and breath in certain movements.
